So this morning while at 70 mph on highway going up a slight hill the truck started to shake and lose power. Almost felt like a loose tire or something, but the slow loss of power was evident. The mpg display went from 16 to 9 then after coming to a stop at my exit it come back up. I work very near the exit so i could check to see if it was intermittent or not. Any ideas.

Damn, that could be many things. But, I would start with the fuel pump. Is the CEL light coming on?

Shaking sounds like something in the driveline. Check that your lugs, diff bolts, u joints are on and tight. Could you have run over something?

Well while driving to the dealer it started again i could hear a clicking rear left . Sure enough i can smell brake pad. Im thinking either a stuck ebrake or a stuck caliper.

Or possibly a damaged wheel speed sensor.

Well the best part is that it is covered under my warranty so they are fixing it for free.
