    Hello all,

It’s been a while. I’ve unfortunately been in and out of the hospital the past few months. A few surgeries and I’m almost running as good as my Tundra :).

I’ve decided to upgrade my audio system. I already know what route speakers I want to go. But what would be a good subwoofer enclosure? It doesn’t seem like there are many options and even less that are actually verified to fit. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you!!!

I'm interested in this as well, but the type of speaker you plan on putting in is really important as well as your year and body style of Tundra. I am thinking of going with the JL Audio 12TW-D4 shallow mount or save some money and roll with the Skar VD-12 shallow mount. I would go regular speaker size if there is a box that will fit 1 to 2 12" subs behind the seat of a 2021 Tundra CrewMax.

I know I speak for others when I say @Tech12Volts has what you need. A single 12" was all I needed as I wanted balanced sound, but they make both single and dual sub enclosures. The double will have you relocate jack stand in order to make it fit.

For the OP I don't believe tech12volt makes anything these days.

OP has a 2002, nothing in that catalog will work for him. 07 to current model has great products from James, but the first gen has nothing.

@Maker there is a fairly expensive qlogic box that fits a pair of 8" under the rear passenger seat. Its around $500 once you get subs in it. If you have captains chairs there are hidden boxes that use up the inside of the console, but I don't know if it works for the smaller console (there is a small and a long console).

You really have to get creative and sacrifice some space unless you are okay with buying the qlogic box.
