Why was my driver side turn signal so hard to get out. But the passenger just popped out with one pry. I ended up prying so much it released the lens. It released from all the bending to the housing.

The way to get them to release is not to pry on them, but the undo the fastener on the fender and from the rear to the front, give them a palm whack towards the front of the truck.

Yeah, prying is the wrong way to take those out.

Stand next to your front wheel, and with all bolts off, slap-push (simultaneously) the turn signal forward. It will slide forward. It's the best way I've found to do it across multiple times taking mine out.

That's probably why it came out so easy on my passenger side. I was pulling from the gap between the fender and the clip that connects to the headlight.

The only reason I even was prying was because in most of the videos I've seen. They say and show them prying it forward.

I used a shoelace. Slide it behind the housing and pull

I did something similar and it made me stumble backwards when the clip released.

Yeah, I dunno how to better explain it, but a simple forward palming of the housing.

I hold my hand about an inch over the seam of the light housing and body - I'm not in pimp training here, I simply want my turn signal out - then sort of palm the housing inward-and-forward. I say "palm" it because the housing will go flying off.

But this is the easiest way to get it out I was able to find and it works 100% of the time within 2-3 tries. If they've never been popped out, it's more difficult. But yeah, just want an inward-toward-engine push and slide forward with your palm.

I did end up doing that after not getting it out after 10 minutes but it didn't do anything other than break my lens. I think they've never been removed before. So after my lens broke I just pulled it until it unclipped.
