Much is written on the replacement on the stock shocks and struts . I am about to turn 150k on my 2010 Crewmax so I believe they are due. I have a ProComp 2.5” level lift in the front and a 1” block in the rear. I also recently installed LoadLifter air bag assist system on the rear springs.
My question is what is the recommended strut/shocks and any special requirements with the level lift kit? The truck is pretty much a daily driver with the only off-roading being a two week elk hunting trip in the fall. Bilstein 5100 seem to be very popular and good reviews but slightly higher $$, but not terrible if they’re worth it.

Oh ya, I too have plans to remove my bed to make the repairs to the poorly engineered design. Other than that, these trucks are flawless. I see guys on here saying they are switching to Dodge or Chevy, good luck with that. I haven’t seen one of those last 3 years without busting out and they’re frames look like they are 20 years old at that point. Ive had them all and the Tundra puts the others to shame, IMO. It is true what others have said, not one of the automakers would cover this rust defect, doesn’t make it right, it’s just a fact.
