Recently picked up a PRO suspension for a great price. Rear shocks seem very easy to install. Front struts are a little more involved and will take some time. Unfortunately I don’t have much time or a lift. While on the phone with the dealer about tpms sensors today for the new PRO wheels I picked up, I asked how much to install both front struts. The quoted me $450 but could be less. Not sure if this included an alignment. (I’m assuming I’ll need one after the struts are installed) does this seem high or about right for this work?

That's in the ballpark of what I was being quoted before I ended up doing mine, if it includes alignment.

Id pay the 450 and be happy. That $ would be worth more than my time and effort in installing. I would expect that price to include install of rear shocks.

I suppose it depends on how handy you are. The only tool you'd need other than sockets and wrenches, I believe, would be a spring compressor. Other than that, take your time and make sure truck is supported safely. I did this on my daughter's care with new UCAs. Also did it on my old Land Cruiser when I installed an OME lift with new fronts. Not horrible. $450 just for install...versus a few hours wrenching and keeping the money? It's really not that hard. Put on some good music...keep a cold beer nearby.

Dont forget the tie strap. its worth the 450 if u have to take the struts apart imo

The front springs do not come off to put in pro shocks. There are 4 nuts on the top and one bolt at the bottom, entire shock/spring assembly comes out, new one goes in, done

X2. No spring compressor needed. It can be done with 3 sockets, jack stand and jack in about an hour per side. 2 hrs if you're cruising.
