Strange sound when pushing flashing a/c button. A/c no longer working

    A/c stopped working and the a/c button is flashing. When pushing in the button I hear a click and fan air increasing and then goes back. At times after pushing in the button there is a odd sound. Any ideas what is making that sound? Compressor dying/dead?

    I have attached video with sound. Sound at the very end is what I am referring to.
