I have a 2018 tundra that makes a whining/ chirping noise when the engine warms up. The noise is not that loud when it is in but when you put it in drive it gets louder. So far I have replaced the serpentine belt, idler and tensioner pulleys and a new fan clutch housing assembly. The water pump housing is tight and not leaking and the AC compressor is working fine. It has been doing this for around a year and I'm clueless at this point.

Had that on my 2019, turned out it was the alternator.

Just had a very similar issue. Also noted that the sound would sometimes get worse with RPMs.
I went through the same process of replacing belts and pulleys trying to figure out what was causing it.
The alternator finally completely died on me, which made finding the problem easy.
Just got it swapped out finally two days ago, the sound is completely gone now.

Be careful when blaming the alternator. I fell into this trap with my Tundra as well. Alternators have brushes in them and make completely different sounds and harmonics. I changed a perfectly good alternator for no reason and am still chasing a noise I don’t like.

Power steering fluid level is good? Does the noise change at all with rpm speed or vehicle speed?

They might be old school and look silly, but a mechanic's stethoscope is very cheap and works like a charm on things like this. I used to use a long screw driver up to the ear like my long since passed mechanic grandad and it worked too, but the stethoscopes on Amazon or at Harbor Freight with the rod extensions are far better. Less than $10 at HF.
