I currently have Goodyear Adventure AT in E load and 275/65/18. No immediate plans for lift.

So I have two sets of factory rims and I'm buying Nokian Halkapellitas this fall for my winter set, then will put a set of duratracs for my spring/summer/fall tire. I need to decide what size, I had a thread about the size being better or worse, but I'm questioning if they will fit....

I had been reading that people put 275/70/18's with no lift and no rub.

Then I went back and read this thread https://www.tundras.com/threads/can-i-see-your-275-70r18-please.16553/page-6 a second time and I'm seeing that it's mostly Off Road package trucks or 3rd gen's that fit without lifting.

Should I go for it and hope they fit, or should I still with stock size tires? Is it mostly sledge hammer and heat gun stuff if they rub? I don't want to have to remove mud flaps.

This truck will be be used in country road type stuff, hunting, pastures, some dirt mud trails, and will be the main transportation for our North Dakota blizzard type stuff.
