Usually a steering rack is pretty hardy and hard to damage. If it is leaking then it is probably introducing air into the rack which could lead to slop in the rack, the air will purge out into the reservoir, but may cause a spongy reaction in the rack. You may not see that in your steering wheel but the rack could drift from the leak. Also, it could be the tires you are running on the rig doing that. The leak did not bother the other mechs looking at your rig?

Did you get a printout of the alignment specs?

Type and condition of tires and wheels?

Think I found few issues last night rack is leaking pretty good now when I removed bellow again to inspect and front wheel bearing lasted a week and one is shot again .. also Tires are worn on the tread from previous over never rotate them like 70% putter edge and 50% inner all 4 are like this . I knew bettter on the tire part . It has 180 k miles and org appear rack or at least been on there a while.. yes truck is lifted with a 6 in max trax kit = no front sway bar and on 37 in tires .. sooooo I think a rack new koyo/blue pit bearing and some tires will fix it .and 3 k later we see what happens
