Hello folks. I am new to the Forum and this is my first time posting (hoping this post is in the correct location). I come from the land of Jeeps, but sold them to buy my first Toyota (2016 DC Tundra).

I have seen a common thread that has come up has been folks with the factory 18'' "styled" steel wheels who wish to have black or colored wheels. I have explored the options and wanted to make a photo comparison for those who have steel wheels that want to change their appearance. This is for the folks who don't wish to spend the money on new rims.

STEEL WHEELS PAINTED BLACK (Rustoleum Gloss Black Protective Enamel). Note: Black TRD center caps do not fit onto steel wheels. I purchased a set and found out the hard way. You would have to paint the factory silver center caps to match your rims.

I personally like the gloss black wheel covers. I know most would say who puts hubcaps on a truck. Different strokes for different folks. I used heavy duty rims for my lifted Jeeps. I wanted to make this thread and offer these pictures for those who may want to change the appearance of their steel wheels without breaking the bank.

And just so I can be apart of the Tundra club; I have these new Ridge Grapplers waiting to be mounted ..and they're only 275/65/18. Because I see that is one of the other popular questions here: Will my 275/70's rub? LOL cheers folks. :)
