Going to keep this as simple as possible and not over-engineer it.

It's going to have 1/4"-thick plywood as the floor that will be coated in black bed liner. Will add some L-track rails for anchor points. There's going to also be a an extension of the platform at the front to cover more of the old foot area; it'll be ~7" and will fold down flat or up to make a wall.

    Other goals for this project:
    - Keep some clearance under the bed to stow flat objects like blankets or low-profile boxes. Height ranges from 3 to 4 inches.
    - Be able to access the storage units in the floor.

It's ridiculous how much space there is with the seats removed, especially horizontally because the backrests of the seats protrude about 9" from the rear wall.

Other than more storage possibilities and holding my fridge, the large area can be a quick sleeping area or a space for my dogs to rest during trips.

Adding.. the frame is 1" OD .09" thickness DOM tubing. I'll add some vertical gussets to help with leverage.
