Installed start x remote and everything went according to plan.
Went to reverse out of shop and then noticed back up camera was not working.
Like the truck didn't even recognize it was in reverse the radio was still playing music.
    Rear backup lights not working
    Gas gauge not working
    Head light adjustment not working
    Parking assist not working
    Trailing assist not working
    check engine light on
    list goes on and on
So I uninstalled Start x remote and plugged everything back to factory
Unplugged Battery for ten minutes to reset
Hooked the Battery back up and and at first just the gas gauge not working
Then when I push the button for park assist everything starts malfunctioning
I e-mailed Start x since that's the only way to get in touch with them and they said check for bent pins
I checked for bent pins and made sure all connection's where snapped all the way in.
Then they said take it to dealer.
    Awesome
Is there a fuse that would cause this?
Has anyone had this Issue or am I the lucky one
This is my dream truck and have wanted a Tundra 1794 for a few years
    Always been a Duramax owner

Did you do the plug and play harness or cut and splice? I know start x and fortin are the same and that fortin has the option to do both. Not sure if start x does as well..

I had a similar scenario, but different lights lite up on my dash. Check ALL fuses under the dash. They are hard to tell if they are burnt out or not. Pull them completely and check them under good light. In my case it was the AM1 and AM2 fuses under the dash.

Also, is this a plug and play harness, or did you splice wires?

Yes I got thru all programing and everything worked as it should
Yes this was the plug and play and no wires where cut.
Thanks for the info and I will check all fuses under dash and will report my findings.
    Appreciate the feed back

So taking you guys advice I started checking fuses and notice there where several that had no power but where good.
So I started tracing all the wires and found one plug that was not plugged in
Must have not been bluged in all the way and came undone when I was installing remote..
I unhooked my battery and push in my horn to make sure all power was drained from system.
Hooked battery back up and all is working.
Wow amazing how clusterd the wiring is and easy it is to unplug something and not even know it..
Diffently will pay closer attention next time.

    Glad you got it working.

FYI...I’ve had my start-x since august of 2019 and use it every single day at least once and have had no issues, so you should be good now!

I installed this, but now I have hyper flash with my turn signals. I checked all bulbs and they are working... does anyone have an idea about this?

Good question... was thinking I give it a shot... maybe a plug didn’t get pushed in all the way...
