SR5 Parking Sensors?

Saw this at my dealership while getting my truck serviced. I had no idea SR5 came with parking sensors. Any one know if these can be added on all sr5s? also has BSM

My 2017 sr5 has parking sensors and bsm.

 

I wonder if I can add these to mine

 

My '16 has them with BSM. It's part of the Safety and Convenience package.

 

The truck in the link is a TRD Off Road. It is a package that is added to a SR5 (in this case. Can also be added to Limited or 1794 models). Part of the TRD package is required "Convenience Package" which includes the sensors. The convenience packet can be added without adding the TRD package. But, it requires the SR5 Upgrade package also. It might be a little difficult and costly to add all this after the fact.

 

Damn! My truck has the upgrade package but not the safety and convenience, would have been cool though

 

The parking sensors kind of suck I thought I'd like them more than i do. They're really only effective for the front corners of the vehicle not dead-on center.

 

Put a Front View Camera on your truck with the FRAC harness I think its called... you'll be much better off than the front parking sensors.

 

i already have the FRAC harness, one of the best mods I ever did!
