Finally took the truck off road today and to my surprise I think my ICONS are squeaking in the rear? Could it be AAL? Could it be the sways rubbing? Overall the truck performed amazingly but that squeak is annoying...

    Anyone else have these issues?

Btw these were just installed last week...

Usually remove sway bars for off-roading. By his I mean, sway bars are good if you want it to turn without rocking in corners, on pavement, but they limit articulation needed for off-road performance. Based on what I've read on here, squeaks at the back seem usually to be leaf packs. Tighten em up and see how it sounds.

Yes def remove the sways next time. Kind of a spontaneous trip with the family so had no chance to get them off.

I’ve looked at Tacoma and 4Runner boards already and it seems to be a common issue fixed by a monthly lubing of either Tri-Flow or Lithium Grease.

Also need to get all the bolts re tightened next week since I’m approaching 500 miles with the new suspension on so this problem is gonna get solved one way or the other.

I had a squeak on my 10. I sprayed white lithium grease on my leafs every month or so to make it stop.

If it's the ICON expansion pack, they are usually missing the sliders for the main leaf of the expansion pack and it rubs metal on metal and makes the squeak.

Did you find the source of the squeak?

How are you liking this setup at this point?

I have the same issue with my icon suspension. Did spraying the leaf pack work?

I dress up my leaf packs with Fuid Film and it works quite well. I used the straw thingy on the can and spray liberally between each leaf.

I have sprayed it down twice now and the squeak still persists. I will just have to get used to it I guess. It was worth a try though
