Hi there. New here. I have an 03 Tumdra 4.7L. When I move the steering wheel I get a very loud metal squeak/creaking noise (not steering wheel related). I've changed both inner and outer tie rods. It also makes the noise if I push down on the front end. Thinking maybe lower ball joints. But they looked ok, no cracks in the rubber. Just wondering where I should go next, or if someone has had this problem as well. Thank you!

Did you do the basic ball joint/tie rod/bearing test on each wheel while they are independently jacked up? Many videos on YouTube explaining how to check.

You don’t want to fuck around with the lower ball joints on these trucks bro. Known huge fail point. Only use OEM replacements. We can post a couple dozen pics of suckers who opted not to listen to this warning. Or didn’t know until after failure.
