Has anyone installed a spray nozzle to clean the backup camera with washer fluid? Winter slush makes it unusable every time I leave the house without a wipe down.

I installed a rag in the driver door pocket for this reason.

However... would suggest as an option, if you elect to proceed, using a Land Cruiser rear washer reservoir and pump with switched 12v using a push button switch in one of your dash blanks. Might be cleaner given intermittent use of rear washer so it is not "on" each time you use your windshield washer

The reservoir and pump should fit in the tailgate void and you could you a quick release connector of your choice on the 12v if you wanted to pull the tailgate.

Yeah I agree. I was wondering if there was any kind of stealth seamless mods people have done.

That’s a nice idea for the reservoir for sure. Wondering if there’s a way to stealth the nozzle itself.

Also: Big thanks to the manly men reminding me I had mirrors. I had totally forgotten.

I wonder if simply spraying the lens without any wiping would do the job.

Backup cameras were required because of safety improvements. Mirrors don't show you everything that's behind you that you could potentially hit or runover.

I'm in salt country so a dirty camera lens is a daily occurrence. When i'm lazy, i use my finger. Thinking about it more, I should keep a microfiber towel in the truck. Yeah it'll get scratched over time but I can also replace it over time too.
