Is there supposed to be some type of Cover or Shield over this area on the Non-Offroad version of the 2020 SR5? Any help is appreciated.

Only on the "offroad" package do you get the small steel skidplate, I don't think even the TRD Pro got the full TRD thick aluminum skidplate in its package.

I have the smaller steel skidplate if you want it, all yours, I went to the larger/longer TRD aluminum skidplate so I could still get to the oil filter readily.

Thanks for the reply! I think I have the skidplate you are referring to. I was told it was from an "offroad" package. I suppose it will fit?

That is the stock skid plate that came on my SR5.

    It is NOT for off-roading.

You'll also have to take it down for oil changes or have the oil change monkey do it and likely charge you extra and put it back incorrectly.

Yes it will fit. Now if you want to have a nice skid plate that you don't have to remove to change the oil, look at the RCI. They are having a sale as well.

Oh I didn't say it's good for off-roading, I said it was part of the TRD Offroad package, Toyota called it that, not me!

Doing my own oil changes, the true TRD aluminum full skidplate sold itself to me, didn't hurt that I got it around $300. But now I have this cursed thing chilling in my garage staring at me, challenging me to recycle it.

Gotcha. I don't know why they consider this one safe for Off Road and then sell a TRD one as well. They should all include the TRD if you ask me.

I have the same skidplate sitting out back. I got lucky with a local sale of an RCI skidplate.
