Hello all, sorry if this has been posted before but I'm not great with wiring diagrams. I have a kicker hideaway sub I want to install under my driver's seat. I have a 2020 Platinum with JBL.

I'm looking for the easiest place to tap into the speaker wires. In my old F150 I was able to find which wires they were in the B pillars so I didn't need to remove the door panels.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome. Check out the 3rd sticky thread at the top bud. Your essentially adding another amp and sub.

Btw, always ask the question follow by tundra in Google search before starting a thread.

Thanks, I did see that and was quickly overwhelmed by some of the discussion. My skills are limited to stripping wires and plugging things in. I've searched and read about encrypted signals, low quality signals , wires changing colors and all sorts of other issues. I guess I'll just pull the door panel off and tap into the wires at the speaker.

Just to resolve this thread. Using TundraTex's wiring diagram I pulled off the driver's side B pillar and tapped into the black (which is rear left +) and yellow (which is rear left -) wires for my speaker level inputs. I wired it up to a kicker hideaway sub under my driver's seat. The hideaway does not need a remote power so all that was left for me to do was to hook up a ground wire and a constant power to the battery. Again using TundraTex's work I cut off the nipple on the grommet in the firewall, ran the power cable that route and it was probably the easiest sub install I've ever done. In the next few days I'll tap into the right rear channel as well.

Thanks to this forum for having the information available.

Used the same diagrams today but tapped in under the passenger seat and put it behind the back seats. Hideaway sounds really good.

Easiet place to tap into is at the amp, on the input side, under the passenger seat. Just snake the wire under the carpet.
