I am installing Hertz CPK 165 Pros and the tweeters for the sail panels do not seem to want to fit. Has anyone installed aftermarket tweeters in these? If so, did you trim the bracket to make the tweeters for?

I just installed these. I used some flush cutters and trimmed all the interior "ribs" and was able to push them down into the stock mount. It was still a very tight fit. It was also easier to install the tweeters when the mount was installed on the sail panel. Just noticed I had a different tweeter, but I think my method should still work for you.

I cut out all the ribs and just left the notches. The bracket was on the verge of braking when I put the speakers in but they fit and are tight.
