Spare tire mechanism

    I think the slot mechanism is missing. Got a flat today and tried to get the spare down. The slot in the bumper where the rod lines up to has what looks like a flat circle. Nothing for the hook end to line up to. From online videos, I am expecting to see a slot for the hook end to fit into. I'll try to get a picture and update the post. Has anyone heard of that issue? It's a '21, so not that old. This is my first truck and Toyota, so I am learning as fast as I can.

    Look for the lock socket, it should be with the rods. Went thru that with mine . I removed the lock from the spare tire assembly.
