I can’t believe that Toyota is so cheap!
    Have a look under your truck, I think you’ll find a 245/75/18 tire, not a 265/60/20!
    WTH!
These trucks aren’t cheap to buy, why not have a same size spare?
I did not get any satisfaction from Woodstock, Ontario Toyota.
I’m not so happy about this, I run Michelin load range E. (for pulling my flat bed)
If I blow a tire in a desolate area, will that temporary spare get me to where I can get a decent tire?
    My rant is over!

    Welcome to your first post.
    I don't see a problem.

Your spare is the same height as your other tires and just a .80 inch narrower.
It's a spare tire, not a replacement tire.

If that width or tire rating is a problem, buy a 265/70/18 Michelin E-rated tire and use it as a spare on your 18" wheel..

Bottom line is you are overthinking a problem that doesn't exist.
Have another shot and chill Bill..

I've had my 2014 for 11 years, and knock on wood, I've never used my spare.
That is running D, E, and SL rated tires...
My truck came with 20" tires and has an 18" spare, I never gave it a second thought..

I just bought an 20” rim off of Amazon, Toyota (or parts shops) couldn’t provide one even at my $$$ I do have a 20” heavy rated spare tire.
    To reply:
Perhaps where you drive that would be fine!
Where I haul is remote and I don’t trust a temporary tire to get me to where I can get another load range E tire!
    Still not happy…

If Toyota supplied your truck with E rated all around, I say that’s a valid concern.
If not, and you upgraded to E load, then that’s on you and you should have changed the spare when you bought the tires. And to add, they supplied a suitable spare to match.
Either way I’m with you and prefer, and do carry, a full sized E rated spare.
