I'm getting the veepeak obd2 bluetooth that works on both an android and apple. I currently have an Samsung galaxy s8 phone but will be switching to iphone in a week. I'd like to use my galaxy with obd Fusion on it as dedicated device to keep in truck

Question... I'd like to factory reset the phone to remove any personal info. Can I still download obd fusion from Google play over wifi even if my phone is no longer activated with my cellular?

Sorry if dumb question. Rather check it out now versus find out the hard way I cannot
