Trying to finish up the install of the Hertz door and JL dash speakers. I used noico tiles and butyl rope on the door skins, cloth tape on wiring and retainer clips, and foam rings/pads for the speakers. Is there anything I should do to the tweeters to get the best sound? The factory door sail tweeters look like they had foam around them like the rest of the speakers? Should I foam the new ones? I know for the mids, the foam rings are supposed to direct the sound out of the speaker opening and prevent it from dispersing into the door panel. There also appears to be some double sided adhesive that came with the Hertz components for the tweeters. Is this something I should use?
