I am having issues with my bumper sonar sensors in my 2017 tundra. Can anyone please tell me if the front and rear sensors are the same?? And will they interchange,??

None yet but making a list and looking at the budget.....
I have a 2014 Platinum and yes the bumper sensors from the front will work on the back. Same part number.

Thanks for the info. I found an original sensor for the back for a good price $$. And I was needing one for the front. So I was hoping that they would interchange.

If I am not mistaken, you have to go to the dealer and get it programmed/calibrated. Check into that also so you don't change it out and then it's still doesn't work.

I could see that for BSM. For parking sensors you normally rotate them 90 degrees, if possible, to get them to work.

I remember reading about the Camry bumper sensors and how the dealer tapped the bumper and threw off the sensors. Had to be calibrated again. But it could be like you said. Luckily I have never had an issue with those sensors. He can just asked the dealer to make sure just in case.

Thanks for all the info guys. I got the new sensor and it did not need to be programmed. The Toyota dealer said when you have to start programming them sensors was from 2019 and newer.
