I got done with the deadening project and after putting everything back the driver side window switch will not light up or roll down. It will control all the other windows fine. Just the driver’s side not working. I checked all the wiring after pulling the door card off. Nothing is shear or broken wire. Is the switch dead? Picture below show only the passenger side lit up blue. The driver’s button is not.

    Any idea?

    Too many, but not enough....
Did you check all the pins on the connector? Is this stock or aftermarket switch? Unlikely to do anything but did you reset battery and see of it works?

stock switch. I did pull and check the pins. All straight, nothing bend.
I had the battery unhook the entire time i was working on the project.

Yeah. Nothing fray or broken. Look solid to me. Strange that only the button doesnt work or light up.
I can still lock/unlock. Button that lock all other windows from rolling down. That all work. Only the driver’s button doesnt seem to have power. Was working prior to project.

I checked all the fuse and nothing is blown.
Even checked the odd ball 30a square fuse with purple tinted lid and all 4 have continuity. All the 20a door fuses under dash are good. The 20a Power No. 1 from the engine fuse box is also good.
Still dont understand why everything else on the master switch works except for the driver’s side button.

    Solved!!
i forgot to plug in the power plug for the regulator motor. Had covered it with Dynaliner and totally spaced it.
Wasn't til i watched a YouTube vid on how to replace the regulator motor, when it show you need to remove this plug that’s when it dawn on me. That I AM an IDIOT!!
    All is restored and happy.

    Thanks for the help.

We have all been there man! Glad it was an easy fix for you - feels good not to have to spend money on new parts and troubleshoot on your own!!!

Definitely glad it was an easy fix for sure. I had thought ahead whether i would have to bring it into the dealership if i couldn’t figure it out. Lots of planning ahead and spending more money. Looked at oem switch on eBay already. Thinking i would need to rip out the sound deadening to get to the regulator if it comes to that.
Troubleshooting is the worse for me, stressful. But, this also taught me where all the related fuses and relays are for the power windows and such. Good lesson in troubleshooting i supposed. Good thing do come out from this.
