I am actually considering the TRD exhaust and just over in Greensboro. Really wanting the black tips though. Why are you removing it? I’ve read mixed reviews of drone when cursing.

I loved it. Great sound! The only reason I removed it was because I pull a 6000lb travel trailer up pretty steep mountain grades and it just gets too loud while doing that.

Thanks. For the pipes I used flat black high heat Rust-Oleum, and for the tips I used gloss black Dupli-Colour high heat paint. I did use sand paper on the tips before painting.

@jeller75 is selling that exhaust for great deal!

Local powder coating guy told me you can do exhaust as long as temps do not exceed 200*F. Another option he is dabbling in is ceracoat? But he tells me it’s nearly double the price and the finish isn’t all that nice. There’s always Jethot coatings and the good ole BBQ flat black
