    SOLD

$180 shipped via some form of overnight FedEx anywhere in the continental US. PayPal preferred.

Up for sale is a lightly used iDatalink Maestro Rockford Fosgate DSR1 audio digital signal processor (DSP), which is ideal for anyone looking to maintain the factory head unit and pair with an aftermarket amp. I purchased this along with my 5-channel amp from James at tech12volt.

I ran this DSP for a while and liked the vast improvement from the (not great) factory audio in my 2020 Platinum Tundra, but eventually I pulled together the cash to install the high-end Kenwood DNR1007XR. So, I no longer need the DSP as the new head unit can talk directly to my amp.

This unit can be programmed via an app from your phone and allows parametric EQ control. It is pretty powerful in what it can do!

Includes original box / papers, miscellaneous cables you may not need, and additional RCA and (partial) TO3 harness for direct plug and play between the Tundra head unit and an aftermarket amp with RCA inputs (see photo). This worked well in my 2020 Tundra with JBL audio. Please confirm fitment for your setup before purchasing, as my claim of plug and play is for matching systems and I am not familiar with all the differences for different trims / model years.

Thanks! If I missed anything, please ask.

Don’t mean to high Jack your thread. Do you have pics of the new Kenwood headunit in your tundra. Thanks. Also you noticed that much more difference with the Kenwood headunit over running the factory with this running your factory headunit.

    Photo attached.

Generally, yes in my experience aftermarket head units will provide a cleaner output signal than OEM head units. But, this particular head unit is pricey at $1600 MSRP. And I dumped another $1400 into other components.

The DSR1 is meant for those who either prefer the factory head unit (not necessarily for audio fidelity, but for continuity of the stock setup) or are looking for good audio improvement on a budget. There is plenty of testimony to this on the forum here and there’s a reason James over at tech12volt offers it. Using the DSR1 could certainly be a short-term improvement like I used it for. It provides vast improvement over the stock setup.

Thanks dude, I agree with your because I have had a lot of aftermarket systems in my cars. Always replaced the headunit. But that Kenwood headunit is sweet. Me probably if I do my whole system down the road when I get my tundra pro I probably would stay with the factory headunit and do everything else. But I have time to decide if I choose to change that headunit out. Thank you.
