SOLD: Flex-Fuel Optitron Cluster (83800-0CK30)

I purchased this cluster from a fellow member and have had it installed in my 2012 Tundra RW flex-fuel for about three years now. The cluster was originally removed from a 2013 Sequoia flex-fuel w/26 gal tank. Everything works on it and it is a huge improvement over the original orange cluster that came with the truck. To eliminate the electronic power steering warning light (a.k.a. the “Poké Ball” light) while in the Tundra, I used a small piece of electrical tape to cover the LED. I did misplace one of the screws on the back cover, but replaced it with a similar one.

If I remember correctly, the fuel gauge may read high if installed in a non–flex-fuel truck. Please refer to the thread on the 2nd gen cluster for all info: https://www.tundras.com/threads/2nd-gen-cluster.101993

With trail and error, I was able to reprogram it with the correct mileage using the info in that thread. I can do the same for you as well. However, I make no guarantees it will be exact, but it will be close. This is due to the way the programming works, I was lucky and got it exact. I’ll also include a spare lens cover as well; both covers have scuffs and scratches on them.

Interested. How'd did you change the mileage? I'd need to do the same to match my trucks mileage.

These clusters can be programmed from 0-999,999

Orange/Red reportedly have a lesser affect on nighttime vision.

 

Well cool overrides night time vision. IMO anyway
