Soft folding tonneau -tie down?

Got a bison tonneau and installed but no idea what to do with these parts

Side steps, bed step, tonneau cover, bed mat, mud flaps

Those are safety straps in case your fasteners fail. There were two extra brackets to hook to the rail system on my Tundra that I fastened these to.
