He just graduated college in December and now he is going into the Coast Guard tomorrow. At the Twins game he was honored with spooling up the Twins flag. Another ten new soldiers were honored too as it was armed services honor day at the Twins. Blessed.
    Love yours. D

Very cool. What field will he be going into? And is he going officer or enlisted?

Great job dad. I would be equally proud if my kids decided to serve.

Trying to talk our cousin into going in the CG. He just graduated from college. He would have a nice secure future if he follows advice. Congrats for your son and you folks.

My twins are in the CG. One stationed in Milwaukee and the other will be on Long Island. The one in Milwaukee just started his 1st day on the job yesterday and the other is in his 6th week at bootcamp. I am over the top proud of them.

Great time to be proud for sure. My oldest brother served in the CG and had some crazy stories. So, my advice, get prepared for everything from mild to plain wild.
