Hypertech and rough country make a speedo calibrator for our trucks. But they both recommend setting it back to factory before bringing it into the dealership..

Those are your anti sway bars. They keep the truck from having excess body roll while cornering. Better on road handling. People who are serious offroaders remove them tho..

FFV stands for Flex Fuel Vehicle, meaning you can run E85 ethanol gas in it. Although not recommended.

I'm sure that vehicle has not been regeared and that would be about the only way to recoup some of the lost MPG's out of it, other than putting it back on stock tires of course.

Yes most people regear once you go to 35+ I have had mine done. They have 4.88s and 5.29
I would recommend 5.29 that seems to be the most common for our tire sizes. It can get pricey mine was 1800 after installation
Although the only guys on here that I have seen with transmission issues have 12" lifts with 40" tires

Im still running stock gearing on 37s.... but will hopefully be going 5.29s if I ever get a reply back from nitro gears. Also, I get 12.5 mpg but baby it every step of the way, so as long as you don't try to drive it like a sports car(which it is not) then your mpg will improve some. These were not designed to be great mpg vehicles so anything you do to them will only improve the mpg minimally and usually isn't cost effective.

Are 5.29 gears good for highway driving also or will they hurt my transmission?

What will "hurt" your truck in the long run is not regearing. You'll hear people say they have been running stock gearing, blah, blah and they haven't had any issues.... yet. It is putting everything under a strain. With 37s, 5.29 is the closest you can get to stock gearing. It would actually be 5.01, or 5.11... can't remember now, but they don't make that or anything else except for 4.88 and 5.29 for us. Plenty of threads covering this question and concerns.

TX TUNDRA is there a way to know what my gear ratio is? My truck had a previowner and I don't know what they did to it. I drove it on the highway 3 hours away from where I live and same path back and checked divided my mileage from tripometer I set. And it said I was getting 11mpg..i drove 70mph I was tolf my trucks not giving me the right mpg reading on my dash it said 9.3mpg.. with the bully dog platinum gt Gas tuner if i calibrate the tires to the speedometer would that fix my reading also sir?
