6"lift, changing to 4", 37's on 20's changing to 35's on 17's, front bumber, and blackin' out all crome.
    Hey guys,

Long story short, my wife and I wanted to do some overlanding (camping) and after going thru all the options (Jeep, 4runner, Tacoma) because of the overland trailer we got (4900ish dry) we decided the TUNDRA was the perfect option and really the only choice. Thus we went looking. For us, me really, the only option was the 2021 year, with the V8. So we got one. She came with a bunch of upgrades, some more useful then others and I am in the process of swapping out the items that don't fit our needs. Thus, getting rid of the 37's sitting on 20's for 35's sitting on 17's (rims already ordered and either going with the Toyos Open Country or the Falkens). Also, today, as a matter of fact, I am lowering the front to about 4" with some Old man Emu BP51s and removing the Rough Country's and dropping the rear 2". Here are some pics, if I can figure this out.

Thank you Boss. We drove it to Utah, from Cali, to pick up the trailer and it was perfect, except the 37's bogged her down a bit...thus the move to 35's.

Hey bro, I was just reading thru your other thread, on the travel trailer. I know you have the newer gen that can tow a bit more cuz it has a little more power and torque, but here is my two cents, not worth more then one and two 1/2 pennies. Our V8, again I know you have the V6 Turbo, struggled with our new trailer, that weighted about 5800lbs wet (guessing), up hill with the 37" tires. The prior owner did not re-gear her, thus I am dropping to 35's and still might need to re-gear the rear. Also, you might consider looking at overland trailers that get you off grid and away from the public crazies. Your truck is made for dirt roads, you might as well get a trailer that is designed for the same. Good luck bro.

As long as the subframe wasn't cut you can easily go to the OME suspension, it will be a huge improvement. From the side picture it's hard to tell, the 4-6 inch Rough Country kit does require cutting.

Gears are the way! Also pop in an auxiliary tranny cooler. You can easily get the OEM thermostat and lines from a dealer and add a decent aftermarket oil cooler with a few fittings for a cost far below that of a tranny. Happy camping!!

Welcome to the forum! You can't go wrong getting rid of Rough Country and going with Old Man Emu.
If you don't want to regear, maybe consider going with a 33x12.5x17 Tire and wheel combo. I'm running 275/70/18 that equate to 33 1/4 tall tires.
I tow a Jeep on a car hauler behind mine with little to no problem. It will drop into a lower gear when climbing steeper grades.
You will be glad you got the TRD Pro. I'm pretty sure it will have the 38 gallon tank. At 10 MPG when towing, gas stops became to frequent. I ended up buying a 46 gallon Transfer Flow fuel tank.

One of the ABSOLUTE worst things you can do here is look at the "What have you done to your 2.5 Tundra today?" thread.... it will cost you lots of $$$$.$$

Not sure what you mean, she already has the Rough Country and the sub has already been cut. Dropping her down a little with the Old mans should be fine. Am I missing something??

Hahaha...there is no doubt that thread will be dangerous. Yes she has the bigger tank and yes MPG suck balls with 37's towing a trailer. Haha. Not too worried about the MPG but would like to help my engine out a little. Thanks for your reply.

LOL, that is actually something I am considering. She already has straight pipes and sounds beastly like only a v8 can...so...

For sure. In the process of blacking everything out, in case the shit goes sideways. Dark is good to stay under the radar at night.
