So Apparently I'm Grille-iterate...

I have a 2017 Tundra SR5 DC, has the chrome insert and surround for the grille. I believe (and this is now a shaky belief) that I can use 2014-2021 grille inserts interchangeably with my current surround and on my 2017 Tundra. Is this correct? I would like to have the black honeycomb insert, or the Pro black honeycomb insert, and I thought I bought the right one (a later-model-year takeoff insert that I purchased in the marketplace here a while back) for it, but it doesn't look right now that it's in front of me. For one thing, it has a sensor cutout (for which I've found a replacement plate) in the lower center of the insert. The other issue is the top of the insert looks different, as it has different mount points and a center cut-out that doesn't match the top of my current insert.

I don't want to go through all the trouble of replacing the grille insert (and the risk to the tabs that poses) if it's not going to attach correctly to my 2017 Tundra when I go to put it back on. My questions are these:

1. Will this insert work with my current surround and on my 2017 Tundra?
2. If not, is there a black honeycomb (standard or Pro) insert that fits a 2017 Tundra?

If the answer to #1 is No, then look for a 2018+ Pro insert on the marketplace section... Any light you could shed on this would be appreciated.
