Well I got banned from the boosted tundras Facebook page for posting my pulleys so I guess they'll be a forum only thing

Guess you don't get to post things unless you suck them off or sell $20k engine packages. I don't know.

Was debating contacting Prospeed to see if they want to do anything with them, but the flip side is that sounds like a lot of work.

I'm hoping in the near future to make an alternative to the idler pulley that's directly below/right of the supercharger and turn it into a double idler pulley so a tighter belt and more wrap can happen.

With that said I haven't noticed any belt issues with mine running a new belt when I did the pulley, but you're gonna be loading up the blower a lot more than I've ever done.

 

I took it for a little rip and saw 12#. I'm going to order a 2.3 pulley until I can get it tuned. AFR was too lean even with bumping the fuel pressure.

 

That's wild! I am very excited to see how your truck does. Boost, power, tuning, the whole 9 yards. You'll probably have the most powerful Magnuson Tundra out there since Viktor got rid of his Magnuson, and only because he had the larger crank pulley.

I didn't do it since it seemed insane, but there's room to push below 2.0 with my hub design if you want to get real crazy down the line

@Fastlane47 you were asking how small you could run, this is the man to follow to see what's possible.

 

As far as I know, they're aren't any lightweight fast bearing spinning pulley kits for the Tundra like there are the Tacoma....

While cool, I can't see making those for myself let alone enough interest from other people to justify it. They do look sweet though!

 

Shewww! What pulley size was this?

 

Been thinking about if there was a 77.5mm for a Harrop. Would be just a tad more air than the 2.2 for a Maggie without committing to a 75mm. +3 psi instead of +4. I think I could get away with it…

 

Hoping for around 10psi with the next setup nothing too crazy. Ordered one step down in pulley and the additional psi should come from the larger intake, and TB. Maybe if everyone's holds up well at 12 then I maybe more tempted haha

Any updates with running the 2.0"?

 

Not really, I have a couple other things in the works before retuning it. I’ve been putting some easy miles on it with a few little rips and no issues. Lighter wheels/tires, suspension changes, and exhaust cutouts on the way. Just need time to work on it…

 

Got @reywcms Whipple to RCF adapters finally shipped out for him and his dad! I had three made in total in the off chance some person wants another even though they're the only ones I know running the Whipple.



And I FINALLY sent out stickers to you @tripleconpanna and @PermaFrostTRD, which I think were the only two people that wanted stickers.

 

Soon we’ll need an ls 103 adapter. I’m excited to get all this in and running. We might have both our rigs done about the same time between the old man’s work trips and mine. I’ll have to sort out the Evap leak before tuning but other than that should have it all installed in a few weeks

That's awesome! And almost perfectly matches up with my predictions which is great! I don't know if you're getting belt slip pumping than much air but that seemed pretty consistent to 13+ psi!

Were you able to get the truck tuned and running well with that setup?

 

What exhaust are you running??

Between that and the blower spooling up; those sounds are pure awesomeness!!!!
