After letting my 2002 Tundra sit for about 8 days , it smoked when I first started it up. It never does that when I normally start it up. I drive it pretty much daily but went on vacation and white smoke came out. It wasn't steam . Any ideas?

Yes. It’s covered a dozen times on here. Solid chance it’s the power steeeing air control valve. There’s an easy test for this. And it’s in one of the multiple “smoke at startup” threads in this first gen subforum.

Could also be leaky injector, but unlikely. Easy test if you don’t want to follow the FSM or find the thread with info? Unplug the PS ACV and plug the vacuum line going to the manifold.

OEM part is speedy. This is one rare time I’d use the Dorman branded part instead.

Power steering control valve can cause smoke out of the engine exhaust?

Yes, and the main symptom is smoke at startup only, especially after sitting. The longer it sits between starts, the more smoke. Usually gone within 10-20 seconds.
