every other year I smog cert I get an EVAP Code and my Tundra won’t pass. I have a 2006 toy tundra SR5 DBLCB V8. I buy OEM (only) gas cap. Code resets, smog cert passes. How aggravating. EVERY 2 years.

Welcome from Colorado. That EVAP code sucks. Looks like it's best to buy a new gas cap before your next smog. Probably cost a lot more to fix the evap code cause.

    Welcome aboard from Oregon.
I’m not sure if there’s a question in your post?
Did you buy your truck new in ‘06? So it’s failed the smog test 6 times? And you have bought 6 new gas caps?

Thank you for the welcome. Just thought I’d share the knowledge. Had I known sooner the fix could’ve been cheaper.
