Iv got a 2018 5.7L with the 8” dirty deeds ss exhaust. In hot or cold whether when I do a cold start at any time of the day it turns and cranks fine but there is some hesitation to get up to full rpms at start up. It only happens for a second or so but has anyone else had this and is there something I can do to maybe help the hesitation? Once it’s warmed up it’s perfectly fine and cranks normal. TIA

Also completely stock engine mods wise.

Normal, my 2016 does the same thing and kind of bounces around 800-1500 for a few seconds before settling in to get warmed up. I'm running DD 6" but I don't know if the 2 are related.

Right on thanks man. It did it a little before if I remember correctly but w the roar it’s a bit more noticeable. I wonder if an aftermarket air filter would help give it some more breathing room on start up.
