Folks, I was wondering if you had any good experience with a high quality sliding bed rack on these truck, as anything Ive found online says its incompatible.

My plan is to put J hooks on top of the racks for 13'+ kayaks, and i need the ability to slide the racks out of the way to fit an ATV in the bed.

Also, this might be a unicorn, but have you had experience with a sliding rack and toneau cover??

I'd hang it off of the stock bedrail system with T-nuts which would let it be adjustable/slidable. Check under the caps. On my 2nd gen Tacoma with the composite bed the lip of the bed wasn't designed to be a weight bearing surface. That was nearly 10 years ago so maybe the design changed for the Tundra.
