Can someone tell me what size the bolts are for installing the TRD skid plate? I'm looking for the middle bolts size. I bought the skid on craigslist and there is some hardware missing. I have the spacers but not the bolts. Thanks

Depends which bolt you are talking about. If no one answers you you may be able to measure the depth of the plate + frame + spacer (if required). One of the OEM parts reps may be able to help you identify the parts.

I was under my truck yesterday and I noticed one of the rear bolts on the trd skid plate was missing and the other rear bolt was still there hanging on but not secured to anything so the entire back of the skid plate was just freely bouncing around. I’m guessing when I had some suspension work done they must have removed the skid plate and not reinstalled it properly.

Can someone tell me what I need to fix this? It looks like you have to have a spacer and not just a bolt. Am I going to have to remove the entire skid plate to get the new bolt in? It looks like the bolt that is hanging is attached somehow. It’s not screwed in but it’s not falling out either. Thanks.

Do you have a lift and diff drop kit? If you have the diff drop kit you’ll need spacers. If not, just get new bolts and screw then in. Are your bolts broken? Don’t need to remove the entire skid plate especially if you don’t need spacers.

These are example spacers for a diff drop kit.

I have a trd pro with the coachbuilder kit. Shims, shackles, and steering arms. Do you suppose I need spacers for that? Maybe they came with the kit but I don’t remember. Whatever was there has apparently fallen out. The bolt does appear to have some kind of sleeve on it (maybe that’s the spacer) that is keeping the other bolt from falling out.

I’m pretty sure it’s only needed if you have a diff drop. The diff drop have been part of your kit or the spacers just came with the kit and your installer put them on without them really being needed. Try to see if you have the diff drop installed.

These are the two bolts I need. I went over to Toyota of cool springs and the parts guy ( not Roman) had no idea what I was talking about. He said if I had a part number he could look it up. Does anyone know what part number these two bolts are? Thanks
