I bought a used 2018 Tundra in 2022. It already had a lift and shocks on them (Fox 2.0 shocks) but I don’t k Lw how big the lift is. Is anyone able to take a good guess on the size? I’m assuming roughly 2.5~3”.

Tires and wheels were 275 70r18 if that helps.

    Welcome from NNY

Could you take a pic from further away so we can get a good idea of lift size?

That’s the issue, the truck was totaled, and I’m trying to replicate size on my new 3rd gen. I’ll see if I can find any more images.

Here’s another. Sorry they aren’t great. Tires and wheels were 275 70r18 if that helps.

Sorry man I was just breaking your stones a little. That first pic was nearly useless.
Sorry about the totalling. Geometry is totally different between 2nd and 3rd gen’s. Wheel offsets and everything come into play.

I have Fox 2.0 on my 2019 and the fronts max out at 2” lift. Rears (if also Fox 2.0) are 0-1.5” lift depending on if you have aftermarket shackles or blocks. Judging by the first pic I’d say the rear had a maximum of 1” lift.

As for your 3rd gen guys are stuffing 35s without lifting. It’s a whole different ballgame. Check out some of the 3rd gen forums for some tire setups. Good luck!

Stock suspension and 275/70r18 (33’s) looks pretty solid, doesn’t give too much of a performance hit (especially if you can find a d or c load range tire).
Getting into the 1-2” lift territory you’re going to want to probably step up to a 285/70r18 (34’s - not many options in this size though that’s changing some), 285/75r18 (skinny 35’s) or the 35x12.5’s.

Like I was saying earlier - suspension geometry is pretty different from the Gen 2 and that includes wheel wells etc if you’re wanting to preserve that “look”

Why not just look through this forum for a 3rd gen stance you like and replicate that?
