    My fender flares will be in later this week and I have bought the materials to protect the paint under the flares. I ran across this and wondered if it would add a layer of protection. I think they did for the look. They added to silicone to the flare.

    Both my fender flares keep popping out when I drive around.
    Anyone else have same issue?

    :eek: The last time I made a gross silicone mess on a truck, it wasn’t a $60k one. I get the idea behind the look of this, but even in the vid it’s clear the caulk lines aren’t consistent sizing and I’m only ok with that on a beater like mine. But not that fancy ass truck. IMHO :p

    Also, you should consider silicone breaks down the fasted in sunlight FYI.
