I'm curious if anyone else has this condition. 3rd Gen Tundra Limited my driver's side mirror becomes unusable during a heavy rain and driving 65mph. The rain from the driver's side windshield wiper when pushed to the end of the windshield gets sucked across the driver's side window in such a huge pattern that it renders the side mirror useless because I can't see it.
Does anyone else have this issue? Wonder if Toyota Engineers have seen this issue?

Yes! I have this same exact issue. I thought something was wrong with the weatherstripping or the rain guides when I first saw it happen. I suppose it's something we'll have to live with.

YES! Driving my new truck home from Portland in the rain and this was IMMEDIATELY noticeable. Going to make sure we get some good coats of wax on it to see if this will help reduce the streaking right over the section of the window where the driver side mirror should be visible.

I'm also opened to other ideas for how to solve this.

Maybe try window visors? That may help your issue

Would love to talk to a Toyota rep about this.

RainX on the driver's side window?

Can't believe this problem wasn't seen during design testing for the new Tundra?
