Hey guys I'm looking for side steps/running boards for 2016 crewmax that secure snug to the cab. I don't want any gap. Does anyone have a link to what I'm looking for?

typically side steps/step bars always have a gap.

running boards are usually denoted as not having a gap and are usually flush mount and start from the front wheel well and go to end of the cab.

two different products so you cant really compare them even though everyone calls them the same thing.

I've never seen one that is snug against the body. I would think you would not want that. If you get a bunch of mud on there, you want that gap so there's a place that the mud can be pushed out via water, rain or a hose. Plus, if you happen to hit something with that step or slider, you want some space for cushion. Would suck to have it push up against your rocker panel.
