Side mirrors..

Does anyone know if I can just plug and play these on my 2017 tundra sr5 or is there wiring involved? Brother backed into my side mirror and broke it :/

 

They should be plug and play but some 3rd party mirrors that add the signal sometimes have 2 pins swapped (not always the same pins).

But the wire harness in the truck is set up for the turn signal.

 

I was thinking of either these or the muth signal mirrors. I just wouldn’t know which wire to tap into if I go the muth route. Do you happen to know?

Do you just need the glass or an entire mirror housing?

I did Muth mirrors on both my 2005 and 2014.

You might have the turn signal feed to your mirror plug, but you won't have into the housing.
My 2014 SR5 mirror plug did not have the turn signal feed, and I had to run the wiring from the kick plates.

I'm not sure what all I posted on that post, so I might be repeating myself here:

I swapped my red signal Muth mirror with the amber arrow Spotter mirror when I did the tail light Hottails mod that has the rear amber turn signal.

If you just need the glass, I would HIGHLY recommend Spotter Mirrors.

All are heated; options are the BSM light, the turn signal, or just the plain heated mirror.

If your mirror plug doesn't have a signal feed, you can use Muth's instructions to run the wiring, just test the kick plate wiring before connecting to make sure it is correct.
Some have had issues with different year models having different colored wiring.

I took the mirror off and ran the signal wiring.
One guy stated he didn't even take the cover plate off to run his wiring.
