Is there a way to shut off bluetooth? My '22 commandeers my phone's bluetooth but unfortunately I need my phone's bluetooth connection to run my survey equipment. Vary annoying.

If I am understanding this correctly, you should be able to remove your Tundra from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone.

If you need phone paired to survey equipment while truck is running, disconnect phone in Multimedia system under blue-tooth, you can always reconnect when you need it.

The Bluetooth only gets slaved to the truck to enable wireless CarPlay (uses both WiFi and Bluetooth due to amount of data being transferred).
So you can disable it on the screen and run your survey equipment then reconnect when needed
