I purchased a 2018 Tundra SR5 last week with 10,000 miles. The previous owner put on a 2.5 inch spacer level kit on it. I want to replace this with a Bilstein set up (probably 5100s on top setting and a 1 inch shackle in the rear. Is it worth the $800 (with install) to update the shocks or should I just add the shackles to the spacer level and be done. My goal is to put 34 inch tires without doing a BMC.

Spacers usually ride harsher, affect handling, and can damage/collapse shocks. So, yes, I would remove them.

    Alot of them
+1 @Azblue I had spacers for a year and a half and then switched over to all Toytecs. OP, if you plan to offroad at all, take them out.

All depends on what you are wanting out of your truck. Spacers are the affordable way to gain lift for larger tires but it doesn't improve the ride and if you are going to take your truck off road, it seems most don't recommend it. You will get a better ride with the 5100s and they are a pretty affordable lift/improvement over what you have.

+1 for removing the spacers. I did what you are thinking about (but block instead of shackle, shackles are probably better) with a toytec ultimate kit (5100s) and it fits 35" ridge grapplers no problem only removed the mud flaps. much less expensive than king/icon and handles my dirt needs just fine.

If you're planning on keeping the truck for any amount of time I'd go with Bilstein 6112's.
