There is an upTOP rack for sale fairly local that was originally on a RAM. It is the Mid height system and he has some LED lights and bike racks that go with it for $700.

I have a DB HD Cover and was thinking this would be a good opportunity to add a rack, however I am not sure what all I would use it for.

I do have some 14' Kayaks I would like to put on it but not sure the mid height towers would be high enough.

    Thoughts?
    What would you do?

Do you open your cover much? Is the uptop for sale local to you the correct model to fit a DB?

Mid height won’t clear your cab so it will be useless for kayaks. Unless you’re hanging a low-ish awning, want it for lighting, or putting gear on it, the mid height isn’t all that useful. And it will make it less convenient to open your cover depending on if you bridge the two halves with anything.
