Last summer I installed the Toytec Boss lift on my 2017 Crewmax. The coilovers were installed at the preset 3” position and the shackles at the 1”. Recently I noticed the lift appeared to have settled somewhat. So I found some flat ground and took some measurements from hub center to fender:

    DF: 25.75" PF: 26.25"

    DR: 25.25" PR: 25.25"

I'm thinking of putting the shackles at the 1.5” position to help level out the stance somewhat. By doing so, what effect would it possibly have on the other measurements? Also, will the ride quality be changed much?

Oem tonneau, side steps, spray in liner. Trd skidplate.
Ride quality will remain the same and wont affect the front but for a miniscule amount of weight transfer.

I bet it would ride a little nicer without the coils being preloaded as much. I suggest stabbing a shim on the driver side to level the front from left to right.

The BOSS kit is adjustable. 1/4 turn either on the passenger front down or driver front up should get you level. Also, put the shackles on the 1.5 setting. Raising the shackles should not affect ride quality.

Ahh shit. Missed the part about it being shackles. I pictured the front CO’s.

If you lowered the front passenger side coilover 1/4 turn and put the shackles at 1.5 you would be at 25.75 all around. The driver side is always going to settle more. Weight from the driver and gas tank.

I have a bit of the tundra lean, seems to vary depending on where I park and if it's before or after I drive around. Doesn't bother me too much. I like to think of it as my mighty steed kneeling down to make it easier to climb in ;)
