Not sure if anyone on here has ran to this problem but it appears that my shocks has slid down and it apparently has something to do with the rubber boot being missing (per the mechanic at the Indy shop). This is a coincidence especially since it happens 2 days after getting a 4 wheel alignment. Ever since then I been hearing this faint squeaking noise in the rear that you hear less if the radio is turned up. I can definitely hear it with the windows down at low speed. The guy thinks I’m worrying too much but I take things very serious and want to be safe on the road. The handling isn’t too bad but it does sway just a little bit. I’ll be going to the dealership this time so they can figure out the cause.

My truck has always rode good and been quiet up to now. Maybe it’s about time to replace shocks or do a suspension overhaul.

It just looks like the shock boot has fallen out of place. Take it off and redo it or remove the boot of it's busted

Yeah, the boot isn't your shock. It's just there to protect the shock shaft from damage. Your shock body itself could be on the top or bottom depending on the brand. Yours are on the bottom.

Unfortunately I’m not mechanically inclined but I’m looking to get it done. Will this solve the rear squeaking noise that I just developed?

Maybe. But it could be numerous things causing a squeak.
