    Hi folks,

I currently carry a four wheel camper on my tundra and I installed airbags some time ago to help carry the weight a bit more comfortably. I’m looking to upgrade both front and rear shocks and I’m thinking of going with bilstein 4600 all around in hopes that it’ll stiffen up the ride a bit since I do sometimes experience some up and down movement when driving. My question is, considering I have airbags and will adjust the height from time to time to level the truck when camping, will the 4600 in the rear suffice or should I look into the 5100 to help account for that extra “lift” whenever I have to level to account for uneven ground when camping? I’m aware both types of shocks are essentially the same internally and I also know that one of the major differences is that the 5100 is more for trucks with a lift kit. I’m just not sure if the air bags warrant going with an adjustable shock or if the 4600 will handle it without problems.Hope this makes sense. Any feedback is welcome.

I’d go with ome nitros in the rear they have a stiffer option and will accommodate with a lift in the rear. Never been a huge bilstien fan myself I never found them to be much of an upgrade.
